About Witness Score

This is a directory, not a growth-stage “platform.” We publish scorecards that separate whether a notary commissioned in this state can perform RON from whether a logo answers at 11 p.m. from whether anyone will still have the recording in ten years.

Notary marketing collapses three jobs into one checkout: finish my LLC packet tonight, look like I used a local notary, keep a file the bank can subpoena in 2032. The first job is often a video session with an out-of-state commission. The second job is a California problem until 2030. The third job is a retention sentence on a pricing page — or the absence of one. We would rather be dull and accurate than first on a “best of 2026” roundup.

California is on the site because the in-state RON answer is “not yet,” and people still need a stamp this week: signers can use out-of-state RON; California-commissioned notaries cannot perform it; Form 1583 and bank/KYC packets still need a notary.

We are not Proof, Notarize, NotaryLive, OneNotary, BlueNotary, NotaryCam, or PandaDoc. Those names appear as vendors or as sources. They are not the brand. The brand is Witness Score. Site URL: https://witnessscore.com.

Scorecard buttons say Official page or Affiliate link. We may earn a commission if you finish a notarization through a link marked Affiliate link. Details are on the affiliate disclosure.

Grades are not purchased. Methodology is public. If a primary source changes — a SOS alert, a Proof map revision, a pricing page — the page date should move. If it has not, write as if the citation is the authority, not our memory.
